We had the honor to capture Little Miss Mary Alice in her first couple of weeks. She is so beautiful it made taking pictures of her quite easy and incredibly fun. Thank you Mommy and Daddy for being so patient and willing to let us capture your precious baby. We spent some time outdoors first and then headed inside to do some more studio style images. Variety is the spice of life so why not have it all?

Newman Family Session

The Newman family wanted Timeless Photography to shoot their family portrait session somewhere bright, colorful, and unique. We were on a hunt to find orange and blue metal with lots of lines! We found three great places and got just what they were hoping for. I will have to say when you want creative family pictures be prepared to “think outside of the box”. They also had a request for some creative after editing and the results are pretty cool. I think I might have had more fun in the post shoot doing all of the cool editing than I did actually shooting their portraits (no thanks to standing in a huge fire ant hill!). Thank you Newman family for allowing Timeless Photography to capture your family portraits and for desiring something truly unique, fun and creative!

John + Jessica Engagement Session

John and Jessica wanted to do part of their Engagement session at the Houston Zoo. They both love going to the zoo and spending time together there while enjoying the wildlife. Luckily the giraffe was very cooperative and helped us get this awesome shot. We spent the remainder of our session together at Herman Park and captured some beautiful portraits of John and Jessica. We are looking forward to shooting John and Jessica’s wedding in Galveston. Congratulations!

What a cute couple, such fun personalities we were able to capture.

Too funny! John was such a good sport and I think he may have actually had fun.

I love the bare feet and no shoes, it fits them perfectly.

Lili + John Sneak Peak

Lili and John had a beautiful wedding ceremony in Mexico. While we would have died to go with them to Mexico we were able to photograph their amazing wedding reception celebration here in Houston, Texas. Their reception was at the Woodlands Resort located in The Woodlands, Texas. The location was beautiful and we were able to get some cool shots on the golf course. Bree’s Senior Session

We had so much fun capturing Bree’s senior portraits! She has so much personality and is not afraid of the camera. Usually we try to get our clients to relax by making them laugh and talking. Darius’s Senior High School Portrait

Darius graduated from Tomball High School class of 2010. He wanted an urban theme for his senior portrait so we found this awesome old warehouse and then headed over to the railroad tracks to wrap things up.

A few thoughts on Senior Portraits. Most high schools in the Houston, Texas area require you to use their scheduled photographer/studio to get your senior portrait into the yearbook. Usually these studio’s are expensive and their packages and portraits can end up adding up to a lot of money for not so unique portraits. Something to keep in mind is that these studio’s will take your portrait to go into the yearbook for little or no charge depending on what the school has worked out with them. Then instead of spending money on portraits in front of the same backgrounds that all 500+ of your classmates are going to have you find a photographer like Timeless Photography. We are unique with our senior portraits. We strive to make each senior’s session unique and different. We want it to stand out from the crowd and be all about who you are with your own unique talents, personality and style. Our senior sessions last approximately 2 hours. You choose the location you would like, or tell us what theme/style interests you and we will find a location to match you. Can’t decide what to wear? Bring along several outfits and get a variety of portraits. Have a special talent? Sports? Music? Cars? Horses? Bring along any props that tell your story. We are all about you. Children’s Portraits in the Bluebonnets

Since I moved to Texas in 2005 I have not made the trip with my children to Brenham, Texas to see the beautiful bluebonnet and wildflower fields. I decided this year was going to be our year so I dressed the kids up in their easter outfits and loaded them up for the long trip. Joining us on the journey were my adorable niece and nephew. I was so excited to finally get some great shots of my kids in the bluebonnets! So we start driving and just when we should be starting to see fields of lush beautiful flowers we see nothing! My heart sinks as I begin to realize that I had waited a couple of weeks too long. Darn. My kids were getting frustrated and disappointed at the lackage in pretty flowers. We were just about to turn around and call it quits til next year when my sister in law spotted a small patch off the side of the road and hidden almost from view. YES! By this point the kids were so fried we were lucky to get these shots.

Lincoln had been the best sport the whole time, until the picture below. “No more pictures Aunt Liz!”

My nephew is incredibly protective of his little sister. When I asked my sister in law how she taught him this she just said he was born that way. Too cute!!

Children’s Portraits are a very touchy subject, you want happy, smiling, kids but sometimes things don’t always work out as planned. A good tip for any mom getting her kidos ready for their portraits is to not get them dressed until we are ready to shot. This keeps the kids from messing up their cute clothes . Also I usually bring along bribery of some sort. This time we brought along jelly beans, which while they were yummy for the kids they were a colorful drooling mess!! Note to self…jellybeans+pictures=messy, gooey, faces. Although it did make for this cute pic below.

My youngest Emma had had enough of the whole ordeal. To show her disdain for my picture taking she ripped up a bluebonnet and threw it at me…what an angel

Our session fee includes two hours of photography for an unlimted number of persons. We are very flexible and we allow plenty of time for outfit changes, short snack breaks, quick location changes, as long as time permits, whatever it takes to keeps your children happy and comfortable.
